I’m SUPER jazzed and excited to see Bluetoo venture’s Todoist application for the iPhone. As many of you know I’ve been researching GTD applications and trying to come up with as system that works for my needs.
I’m currently using Toodledo which is a very nice application.. it’s well documented, has tons of support, and the development team is great. The only problem is that I’m just not a fan of the web UI. It’s difficult to use.. the sub-task support is complicated and feels buggy. I’m not saying it is buggy.. it just feels funky when i use it. Oh, and the UI just doesn’t make me scream with joy. There are a lot of great things about Toodledo.. it really is a fantastic product. However, for day to day use I keep coming back to..
Todoist. It is a much simpler application but I LOVE the UI. Unfortunately, it hasn’t had an iPhone application to match, therefore making it unusable for me in production.
Well, Bluetoo Ventures is about to release “Doings”.. their todoist iPhone application. I haven’t seen it yet, but I’m VERY excited.. can’t wait to give it a shot!

Drool. . . Me wanty too! I have an ASUS R1F touch notepad. The screen flips around so I can just use it like a paper notebook. It is solid and userfriendly, but this and the potential Apple Tablet (iPad?) due out early next year are making me a little nutty in the wanty arena.

Have you tried this yet? I know it’s incredibly sad to drool over these Apps. But I really do need a good to-do list I can use across the various devices and computers I use. I’ve been using the Toodledo Application on the iPhone and the Outlook Sync program but between them at least one part of it was really screwy and it drove me mad. I’ve cut right back on all the syncing and find myself with three separate lists again…. not good. I really hate writing a long list of tasks I need to do for the film only to find those tasks deleted themselves… it puts the stress back in list making.

I’m also a huge Todoist fan! But my only problem is trying to find mobile apps for it. There aren’t any listed on the site and there certainly aren’t any official apps. I guess I’ve finally found some iPhone and Android apps, but so far nothing for webOS or WinMo. I know they’re smaller platforms, but if anyone could help feel free.
